Green Enterprise, UTECO🍃welcomes youth to its premises in Piraeus, Greece.
In the framework of GreenWave project, IDEC organised a study visit in cooperation with UTECO, a leading company in the field of industrial and maritime automation, with more than 50 years of experience in the sector.
“UTECO is driven and underpinned by a commitment to technological innovation, green energy, and passion for excellence”
👥 4 young people, already involved in the GreenWave project, had the opportunity to learn about the operations of the company. UTECO presented in-depth its production line, mentioning the company’s approach on environmental protection.
“We put to use our powers, our resources as well as our partnerships to create a sustainable workflow in every stage of our business”
During the 3-hour visit, young participants learned more about the ISO:14001 in regards to the management of environmental issues, but most importantly focused on the industrial waste recycling process in its whole.
💡One of the most interesting takes was the fully functional space that operates as a charging area for electric cars.
Many thanks to UTECO for welcoming us in its premises for this incredible study visit!
Many more thanks to Ms. Zika (Quality & Approvals Engineer), Ms. Athanasopoulou (A.D member) and Mr. Panagopoulos (R & D Engineer) for their informative lectures about the company’s operations!
