Description
Greenpeace Greece is looking for an experienced full-time Communications Campaigner to join our dynamic Communication Team in Athens (one-year contract with renewal option).
Key duties & responsibilities (The Role) – subject but not limited to:
- Media and Press office
- Storytelling & copywriting
- Digital communications & social media
- Content production
- Strategic & tactical thinking
- Public relations, events & influencers management
Requirements:
Qualifications and experience:
- Proven similar working experience (2-3 years)
- Positive attitude, flexible with good multitasking ability and attention to detail
- Proven and demonstrated excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, public relations, partnership building and influencer marketing skills
- Experience in co-design, contribute and understand of brand / campaign strategy and implement through communications
- Commitment to a hands-on, personally delivered approach
- Ability to coordinate, create and pitch compelling stories to media (TV, press, digital or social) in order to meet strategic goals
- Very good knowledge of traditional and digital communication practices
- Experience creating on brand, audience – focused messaging
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.
- Outstanding computer skills
- Demonstrate sound judgment in situations requiring independent decision making and in handling confidential and sensitive material
- Ability to work under pressure and respond positively to multiple deadlines with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to take initiative, present options, and anticipate outcomes
- Commitment to deliver innovative, high quality solutions
- Self-starter, flexible and collaborative
- Fluency in written and spoken Greek and English
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Be able to cover Greenpeace’s events (some traveling will be needed)
